SKIN CANCER REMOVAL

Skin Cancer Removal

The complete excision of Basal Cell Carcinomas, Squamous Cell Carcinomas, Melanomas, and many other types of skin cancers are performed for almost all cases in an ambulatory setting. These surgeries are generally minor and only require local anesthesia and have a relatively quick recovery time. When a patient has been diagnosed with a previous skin cancer rigorous skin screenings are performed at routine intervals from 3 to 6 months depending on their diagnosis and the degree of existing sun damage.
